Pork Chop 101

 

Grilling Method: Direct/Medium Heat

4          single cut pork chops, about 1 inch thick

            Olive oil

            Kosher salt

            Freshly ground pepper

Remove pork chops from package.  Pat dry with paper towels. Brush lightly on all sides with olive oil and season with salt and, if desired, pepper. Place the chops directly on the cooking grate and grill for 6-8 minutes.  Turn and continue grilling for another 8 minutes, or until well marked and 155˚F in the center of the chop.  Remove from grill to a clean platter and let rest 5 minutes.
